Cammie Harbottle

OWNER/FARMER

Cammie grew up in the Shuswap/North Okanagan valley of British Columbia. She began farming 15 years ago and in the fall of 2008, moved to Tatamagouche, NS where she lives with her partner, son, and daughter. Waldegrave Farm is located on a 100 acre piece of land held in trust by the Tatamagouche Community Land Trust. Cammie has a long term renewable lease on the land and, in 2009, began Waldegrave Farm, Certified Organic Produce.

Jessie MacInnis

Jessie grew up in Halifax, studied at Mount Allison, and after a few years of traveling and volunteering on farms stumbled on Waldegrave Farm and hasn’t left since. Jessie was an apprentice in 2015, and has been working here for the last three years. She is passionate about food sovereignty and community development issues as well as growing good food.

Clara Herbert-Harbottle loves to help with day to day farm activities such as raking, sweeping, and harvesting. She spends her spare time eating cherry tomatoes.

Keir Herbert-Harbottle is an excellent helper on the farm. His main areas of focus are honey production, melon sampling, and harvest supervision.
